Maths in Fir!
27th Sep 2023
This week, we have been living life in all its fullness as we explore teen numbers.
We have been learning what numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 look like and how we can make them with cubes and numicon. We have learned that the 1 in each number doesn't mean one, but ten! We have been trying to look out for the tens and ones in our numbers and practising how to represent them. We have also had a go at writing out some number sentences to show our learning.
Take a look at some of our practical work on our whiteboards!
