This week in Maths, we have been starting each lesson living life in all its fullness with BBC SuperMovers to help us practice counting in 2s, 5s, and 10s. We absolutely love it!
Our new learning this week has been all about shape! We have thought lots about different 2D and 3D shapes and we have learned some exciting new maths words like, vertex or vertices meaning corners and faces to describe the flat, smooth areas on 3D shapes.
We have been trying to spot different shapes around the classroom as well as identifying how we know to deepen our thinking. For example, we now know that a square on its side is still a square, not a diamond!
