This week, our nursery children have been growing more confident with numbers. They are doing lots of counting and are working on one-to-one correspondence. The children are also learning to recognise numbers.
This week the children have been working on a skill called "subitising". This means recognising how many items are in a group without counting them one by one. They’ve been using their "fast eyes" to quickly recognise groups of dots.
We are proud of their amazing progress!
