My Happy Mind
This week, continuing to Live Life in all its Fullness, we have been thinking about World Mental Health Week.
We have been discussing how our mental health is all about our state of mind, how we're feeling emotionally, the thoughts we're having, and then how this affects the choices we make and how we behave. It also determines how able we're to cope with daily life. Positive mental health means that we feel safe, supported, able to cope, and connected to ourselves and the people around us. We know it’s important to understand that we all have mental health and it can be either good or bad at different times in our lives, depending on many things.
We also thought about that certain states of mind are temporary, and that there is always something we can do to improve our mental health. We reminded ourselves of our happy breathing and how this helps us to feel calm and relaxed and change how we are feeling inside. We spoke about how it is ok to feel different things at different times, but that is also important to talk to adults about how you are feeling.
