Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
The children absolutely love nursery rhymes! We sing them every day, and they play a big part in all the fun we have in Nursery. This week, the children had lots of fun making their own shakers by putting lentils and pasta into plastic bottles. They thoroughly enjoyed making music and singing different nursery rhymes. Also this week, the children got busy crafting their own counting sticks and have been counting lots of objects around the classroom. They had lots of fun creating their own shop, complete with labels and prices for all the items. Other activities included making playdough aliens and threading pasta onto pipe cleaners, both of which were fantastic for developing fine motor skills.
