In Evergreen class we are "Living Life In All Its Fullness" developing our oracy skills everyday. We use our oracy skills in every lesson and now understand the importance of discussion within our learning. We understand how it can support both our own learning and also help others in the class. We have created a safe and supportive environment which allows us to share our thoughts and ideas without concern or worry about immediately knowing the correct answer. We have also developed our own responses in class which we use during discussions one is "I don't know but I'll have a go" this supports the development of confidence for offering opinions to be built upon. We also use the phrases "I agree because..., "I disagree because," and "can I challenge that" using our own actions. Evergreen have worked well together as a team to create this environment and both myself and Miss McCabe are very proud of them! We always delighted to hear their ideas. Well done Evergreen class!
