We have been developing our oracy skills through colourful semantics and sequencing cards. We have focused on the stories of Jonah and the Whale and Handa's Surprise. We introduced ‘who’ by looking at pictures in books and images on the screen. The children have learned that a ‘who’ (subject) can be a person, animal or character. We then introduced what they are doing. The children enjoyed building their spoken vocabulary by making longer sentences involving when and where. Well done Blossom you are truly living life in all its fullness.
