Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
Showing life in all its fullness this week, Beech class have been using their oracy skills to improve their sentence openers. We were rather excited to receive a letter from Little Red Riding Hood asking our opinion about the Wolf in this half term's text 'The Wolf's Story' by Toby Forward. We excitedly decided to write back to her and began answering her questions with because. However, we decided that we could think of different openers that might make our replies more interesting to read. Firstly, we planned our sentence openers by talking to our talk partners. We then used these ideas independently in our writing.
