Phonics in Nursery
I am proud of the progress the children have made so far in learning phonics. They have had a great start learning the sounds: s, a, t, p, i, and n. It's wonderful to see them doing a fantastic job at hearing initial sounds in words and starting to blend them together!
A big part of our phonics work in nursery involves listening and attention games, as well as enjoying nursery rhymes and focusing on rhyming words. It's lovely to see each child developing in their own way.
We have also been practising forming letters, which is an important skill, and the children are showing great enthusiasm and improvement.
Have a look at the children 'living life in fullness'.
