In Nursery, we have been exploring the value of friendship and discussing what makes a good friend. This week, we have been beginning to think about the different celebrations we enjoy. We spoke about birthdays and all the fun activities associated with them. Other activities this week included making rockets! After learning all about space, the children were excited to make their own. This was inspired by our new book "Whatever Next!" by Jill Murphy. The children have had lots of fun exploring space and the story. In maths, they have been subitising, using their "fast eyes" to tell me how many dots they could see.
