This week, we have been enjoying Goldilocks and the Three Bears for our Big Book.
We have loved exploring the different characters and making predictions for what we think might happen next. As we have been learning new tricky words, we have also been reading detectives, working hard to spot the tricky words.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears made an appearance in our English story too, where we have been reading The Jolly Postman. The Three Bears are the first characters to receive a letter, which is an apology from Goldilocks and an invitation to her birthday party. We were able to link this to our 4 step apology in school, as well as our Christian Value of Forgiveness.
