Yesterday reception had a wonderful day at Dodford Farm. We spent the whole day exploring the beautiful farmland and animals. We fed chickens, donkeys, sheep, ducks, goats and ponies. Then we explored the woodland area and looked for the hidden fairy doors. We did a nature treasure hunt, searched for mini beasts and we had a great time playing on the adventure playground and tractors. We were all very brave and tried something that we had never done before and had a lovely picnic lunch in the glorious sunshine. We were thinking of our Christian value ‘hope’ and hoped for a wonderful day which was made possible by the children making the most of the opportunities they were given. Thank you to the children for being so well behaved and making it such a fun, memorable day.
