Remembrance in Fir
8th Nov 2023
This week we have been showing life in all its fullness as we learn about Remembrance Day. We have found out that each year on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we take time to remember those who have fought or died in wars. We wear poppies to remember them, because poppies were the first flowers to grow on the battlefields after the end of World War One.
We made our own poppies and wrote a prayer to show our respect to those who have helped to keep us safe.
