Spellings and Phonics in Beech Class

To help our children to live life in all its fullness, we ensure that they practise their phonics and spellings everyday in school. At the moment, we are refreshing our knowledge of split digraphs in phonics and revisiting common exception words in our weekly spellings. Common exception words are tricky to sound out words that build fluency in reading and writing. Although we practise these everyday, it is still important to learn these daily at home too!
