In Understanding the World, we have been looking at the change of seasons. The children have had lots of fun being detectives and looking for the signs of Spring. They had a brilliant discussion about what they think happens when the seasons change. Ethan shared his idea by commenting “When it is summer, the bees come out and they make honey!”. We also discussed what season change means for the environment and the animals. After going on a Spring hunt around the playground and courtyard, the children created a fantastic sentence about their findings.
