Living life in all its fullness, at Holly Hill Church School we follow the Super Sonic Phonics scheme. In Year 2 we study spelling rules. We have 3 phonics sessions a week including looking at real words and new words, as well as writing dictated sentences. The dictated sentences usually contain some of the Year 2 Common Exception Words (tricky words). The spelling rules range from alternative spellings, to contractions, to homophones for example. This week, we are learning to spell words containing the suffix ful.
