Our theme for this half term was about superheroes, so in RE we have been reading different bible stories, talking about who the hero in that story might be and why we think that. The children have really enjoyed listening to David and Goliath, Johan and the Whale and this week it was Joshua and the Battle of Jericho. We listened to the story and then re-enacted it. Then we all thought about who the hero of the story was and why, the children had some really interesting ideas. The children also made their own trumpet they could blow just like in the story.
