Wow! The summer is here and the Nursery children have finished for the summer holidays. It has been a wonderful final week with so much play and learning taking place.
We have loved the story ‘Augustus and his smile’; we acted out the story by creeping under the bushes, climbing the tallest trees, parading through the desert and diving to the bottom of the ocean! The children loved finding Augustus’ smile and their own too! This story inspired the children to become authors themselves, lots of them wanting to create their own books and story maps. Also, this week we have been making 2D shapes using pipe cleaners, building the tallest towers and using the Interactive white board to practise our number recognition and our counting skills.
We have loved spending the final half term in Nursery with all the fantastic children and watching them living life in all its fullness. We hope you have a brilliant summer.
