This week, the children received some tiny guests in Cedar Class. They were very excited to learn that we would have our very own pet caterpillars. The children have been exploring the natural world around them to help them live life in all its fullness. We have been looking at the lifecycle of a caterpillar and how it transforms into a beautiful butterfly. They have learned new vocabulary, such as 'chrysalis', which is helping them develop their oracy skills. The caterpillars are being very well looked after by the children through our demonstration of the school values. They are being gentle, kind, and showing respect to God’s creatures.
