This week the children have had a great time in Nursery and have been introduced to our new story, Handa’s Surprise. The children have enjoyed learning the names of the different fruits and animals in the story, as well as finding out more about Kenya, where the story is based. They also explored African patterns to inspire their artwork and created some lovely pieces.
In Maths, the children have been exploring the concept of heavy and light through practical activities and play. The children have also been very busy enjoying the water area, making dens, and exploring both indoors and outdoors with their friends.
Thank you again to all the parents who came to our RE workshop on Wednesday. It is always lovely having you come in and learn alongside the children.
