This week the children have been busy in English, making lines that go up and down as part of their pre‑writing, and then practising writing their names. Outdoors they enjoyed painting on a large scale, building shoulder strength before getting wonderfully messy making marks at the table. In maths they explored size, comparing objects using words like big, small, longer and shorter. They also loved talking about their homes and building their own houses and dens — have a look at the children living life in all its fullness.
