We have been 'Living Life in all its Fullness' by reading our focus story of Croc and Bird. We then retold the story to each other using story language of first, next, then, after that and finally. Next, we worked in pairs to act out the story. One of us was Croc and the other was Bird, this was lots of fun.
After that, we thought about questions we wanted to ask the character to find out more information. Finally we took it in turns to answer questions as though it was the character answering them. This was a fun way to find out what we thought the character might say if they were real. Here are just a few of our questions.
‘How did you feel when I left you?’
How did you feel when you made the nest?’
‘Did you like being back with your family?’
