Since the beginning of term we have looked at our Big Question - 'What is God like?' We have looked at some visual representations of what God may look like. We had some interesting discussions about how could the artist draw a picture when they had never seen God. We have discussed what we thought God may have been doing in the pictures and what Christians believe about God.
During our RE session this week, we showed how to 'Live Life in all its Fullness' by expressing our own thoughts and ideas about God. We started our lesson by listening to the hymn 'The Lord is my Shepherd', and we then discussed how Christians believe that God is looking after us all like a flock of sheep. Then, we watched a video of Douglas who teaches us stories from the bible. Next, we came up with some ideas of words and adjectives to describe God. Finally, we became the artist and drew our own ideas of what we thought God might look like. We also added some words to our drawings to describe God.
