Willow Class Reading Achievement

4th Jun 2026

Willow Class are delighted to celebrate the wonderful achievement of filling our bead jar!

Each time a child read at home and had their diary signed, they earned a bead to add to the jar — a fantastic team effort.

A big well done to all the children for their dedication to reading at home. You should be very proud of yourselves!

To celebrate, we discussed how we would like to use our reward and took part in a class vote. We made a thoughtful decision to donate £25 worth of food to New Starts Food Bank (Arden Road, Frankley Shops). We will help to choose the items and will deliver them to the food bank — such a kind and generous choice.

We are extremely proud of we show such care for others and are working so well together.

Please remember how important it is to keep reading at home and to have diaries signed, as beads can only be awarded with a signed diary. Books are changed on a Thursday, so please make sure they are in school.

Keep up the great work — reading really does make a difference!

Well done, Willow Class!
