Wonderful Mark Making in Nursery

In nursery, we love to make marks! This could be through drawing, painting, making marks in the sand, or using water and paintbrushes to create marks on the wall. All mark-making helps the children on their journey to becoming writers. This week, the children talked about who is in their family and had a go at drawing a picture of their family. Each child is at different stages with their mark-making, and we have been practicing some pre-writing shapes such as circles and straight lines.
