Cedar class have been minibeast mad over this term. In preparation for their trip to Bishops Wood, the children went on a minibeast hunt in school. They explored the playground and found beetles, ladybirds and caterpillars! This linked into their writing lesson where they wrote about what kind of a pet they would want. The book 'Arghhh Spider' is a favourite in Cedar Class and it has helped the children develop their oracy skills. The book gave reasons why the spider would make a good pet such as being clean, helpful and feeding itself. When thinking of their own sentences, the children had to give a reason for their chosen pet. Check out their amazing writing and how they have been living life in all its fullness below!
