We have had a wonderful first week back at school. The children have been super excited about being back in their classroom and have been enjoying their learning. The improvement in the weather has given us lots of time outside and the children are very happy to be able to free-flow between the inside and outside.
Writing in Blossom class is completed in lots of different ways. Firstly we spend lots of time on our fine and gross motor through our provision; knowing this will help strengthen the muscles needed to help with writing. We love to make marks in different media’s and this week have enjoyed using chalk paint and brushes outside, chalks and large rolls of paper on the floor and vertical mark making on the wall whiteboards. In addition to this we also spend time using pencil and paper, focusing on the individual children’s targets.
