Year One Writing Workshop
There are lots of ways to support your child at home with their writing!
It is important to develop your child's fine motor skills to that they have the stamina to write, as we do a lot of writing in year one, and even more in year two!
Reading with your child is also very important, as it helps to expand their vocabulary and knowledge of the world, which also helps their imagination in their writing!
In our writing workshop this week, we discussed all of the things that children need to be able to do in year one, and practiced some activities that will support fine motor development.
Take a look at the information and some pictures of children and parents enjoying the different activities 'Living Life in all its Fullness.' :)
