This week in Nursery we have been thinking about high and low sounds. The children were great at identifying which instruments made a high sound and which made a low sound. We then attempted 'pitch matching' where the children copied the sounds made by an adult. We were very impressed! The children always enjoy playing the musical instruments but this week we attempted to play along with different music, some children were very good at keeping time! We also heard a few renditions of 'Jingle Bells' as the children shook the bells!
Also this week we have been designing our own superhero capes and masks, visiting the doctors surgery, searching for shapes in the sand and singing lots of nursery rhymes. Well done Nursery, you really are 'living life in all its fullness'.
