Nursery have had a wonderful week living life in all its fullness. They have started to learn about 'Spring' and we went looking for signs of it outside, unfortunately we didn't find very many! We will keep looking as the weeks go by! We did have daffodils in the classroom though and the children created amazing pastel drawings of them.
Every week we focus on the children's physical development as it is so important for not only their health and wellbeing but also to allow them to develop skills for writing. The provision is set up to allow for the children to use a range of mark making tools and scissors, access play-doh and other fine motor activities like threading. In our outside environment the children enjoy setting up obstacle courses using planks, blocks and crates, climbing up and sliding down the hill and using hula hoops.
We look forward to lots of Easter fun next week, our final one before the Easter holidays!
