The children all looked fabulous in their costumes today! They enjoyed sharing who they came dressed up as and we all enjoyed reading the different stories children had brought in to share. The children enjoyed creating their own book cover and drawing a picture of them selves and writing a sentence about their costume. We saw some lovely writing which was amazing. To end the day the children created some helicopter stories. This is where a child creates and tells an adult a story and the adult writes it down for them. At snack those children stood up and acted out their story in front of the class.
It is so lovely seeing children getting exciting about stories truly living life in it fullness!
